Fellowship program is of 2 years. 1st year is a “Primary Certificate Course” (PCCCM) especially mandatory for MBBS candidates with at least 1 year ICU working experience. 2nd year will be Fellowship Certificate Program (FCCCM). Candidates who have passed PCCCM can enroll for Fellowship or Postgraduate candidates can directly enroll for FCCCM. For details see in Eligibility Criteria section of Fellowship Exam.

Admissions for PCCCM start from 1st April till 31st July for that current academic year.
(admission with late fee accepted till 30th August subject to approval by College)
Academic year for PCCCM will be from 1st August to 31st July. (12 months)

Academic year for FCCCM will be from 1st August to 31st July. (12 months)

Candidates must have a Gmail account, for correspondence for various academic activities.

Orientation program: It guides you to study for this exam as the pattern of examination is completely different. Also approach to core critical care topics is completely different, which is taught during orientation program. Hence this is taken during beginning of the academic year.

Crash Course:  It is expected that candidates have studied as per the curriculum after going through orientation program, throughout the year. Crash course gives them a quick revision and guidance to write final exams. Hence this is taken before the exams.

Academic Credit Points (ACP):  200 ACPs are needed to be submitted to be eligible for appearing in the exam. Details are given in section of Fellowship Exam.

Online Tests: Periodic online tests/ Exercise worksheets on various aspects of critical care exam will be given to candidates, which will prepare them to appear for final online examination. Answers will be discussed online.

Online Classes: Periodic online classes in the form of online CMEs will be taken, taking into consideration the curriculum for FCCCM. These are Currently held on Wednesdays/ Fridays and Sundays. Details shared with Candidates.

Results will be declared within 15 days of finishing the practical exams.

Pre-requisites to appear in Examsa) Proof of accumulating 200 Academic Credit Points (ACP)
b) 75% cumulative attendance at the various lectures/programs in the academic year.
Candidates unable to meet these 2 requirements will not be permitted to appear in the exam.

Examination for primary certificate course (PCCCM): PracticalBetween 15th June-30th JuneOSCEs – 7 active stations
Vivas – 4 stations covering 4 different systems
Hot cases (ICU cases):1-2 cases
Examination for Fellowship certificate course (FCCCM): TheoryBetween 1st July -10th JulyPaper 1 and paper 2.
